In order to identify sustainable and shared solutions to reduce the environmental impact in the city of Tyre, BLUE TYRE project has entered into an agreement with IUL (Islamic University of Lebanon) involving young students in the feedback collection coming from the local coastal population. The students had the opportunity to experience their skills through the use of different data collection techniques (interviews, questionnaires, participatory tables …). The results obtained will be valid tools to understand how the local community perceives the anthropic impact on landscape resources and to implement the environmental governance strategies of the Phoenician city.
