Cooperation in territories of the world – CTM

CTM is an international cooperation association, founded in Lecce in 1985.

CTM is a non-governmental organization (NGO) as stated by the law no. 49/87 and is a non-profit organization of social utility (ONLUS) as stated by the law D.Lgs. No. 460/ 97.

In over 30 years of activity, we have nurtured the culture of global citizenship, implemented international cooperation projects, and put forward initiatives in favor of persons in difficulty.
We work with schools, associations and grassroots, and promote training courses, education to development, as well as initiatives for supporting decentralized cooperation, involving public opinion and local bodies.

All the work achieved by CTM over 20 years of activity, has allowed the association to be known, registered and / or accredited :

On April 16 2003, by the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy, in the first section of the Register of Institutions and associations carrying out activities in favor of immigrants;

On May 18, 2005, by the Department for Equal Opportunities within the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, in the Register of associations and bodies carrying out activities for the fight against discrimination;

On July 4, 2005, by Apulia region, in the regional register of entities building partnerships and international cooperation and promoting the culture of human rights;

On October 20, 2005, by the National Civil Service Office, within the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, under class 4 in the national register of bodies of national civil service.

On September 7, 2006, by Apulia region, in the register of bodies and organizations of civil service in Apulia.

CTM is member of the Association of Italian organizations for cooperation and international solidarity (AOI).
