The “Inclusive Dairy in Lebanon” initiative aims to strengthen the socio-work integration services aimed at women victims of violence and former drug addicts in Lebanon through the modernization of the means and work systems of the dairy of the Lebanese non-profit organization Oum El Nour, a small-scale inclusive business start-up, born in 2020 thanks to CTM and Italian Cooperation, which is establishing itself on the local market. The initiative, led by TempoPresente Aps and CTM – CooperazioneneiTerritori del Mondo, plans to improve the quality of the delivery service of the dairy which is equipped with a refrigerated minivan that allows the cold chain of the products to be preserved during the distribution phase to customers and supermarkets. In this way, it contributes to ensuring greater food safety in a country where the economic, energy and war crisis have compromised the quality and freshness of food.

Furthermore, the initiative aims to provide the Dairy and the services of Oum El Nour, a digital system (software) for the optimization of the supply chain for the management and monitoring of all phases of the production and distribution process, contributing to the growth of digital and management skills.

At the same time, in Puglia the photographic exhibition “Tutto di Personale – Storie di Vita” will be promoted, created by the professional photographer Dario Gambino, which tells the stories of women victims of violence and other vulnerable subjects in order to make the Apulian public more aware of the social and economic problems of the Middle East and specifically of the Lebanese context, once again tormented by war.
